Lavitra Uses? Men can take one dose
of LavitraŽ in every 24 hours, as desired. The medication works to block and enzyme
called phosphodiesterase-5, or PDE-5, which then relaxes smooth muscles in the
penis and improves blood flow. Once blood flow is changed, a natural erection
can happen with stimulation. Lavitra Directions? Make sure you
read and follow the instructions for Lavitra. If you have questions about any
aspect of the directions, talk to your doctor or pharmacist for clarification.
Take your pill with a full glass of water. Lavitra may be taken with or without
food. It will work to help you achieve an erection during sexually stimulating
situations, but will not automatically cause one. Lavitra should never be combined
with grapefruit juice or grapefruit, since it can lead to a dangerous interaction.
Most men can take one pill in 24 hours, but your doctor may recommend that you
limit yourself to one pill in 72 hours. If you experience any physical symptoms
such as angina (pain, tightness, discomfort, numbness, or tingling in the chest,
arms, neck, or jaw), nausea, dizziness during sex, make sure your doctor knows.
Seek immediate medical attention if your erection lasts over four hours. Sustained
erections can lead to injury or even impotence.
Lavitra Side Effects? As with most prescription medications, taking Lavitra
may produce side effects. The most commonly reported side effects of Lavitra were
headache, flushing, dyspepsia (indigestion), and nasal congestion. Lavitra
warnings? If you experience any physical symptoms such as angina (pain, tightness,
discomfort, numbness, or tingling in the chest, arms, neck, or jaw), nausea, dizziness
during sex, make sure your doctor knows. Be cautious about using Lavitra if you
have Peyronie's disease or any physical or genital deformity. Medical circumstances
such as leukemia, multiple myeloma (a disease of the bone marrow), or sickle cell
anemia may cause long lasting erections, so use Lavitra with caution. Contact
your doctor or seek emergency medical attention for any erection that lasts longer
than 4 hours. A sustained erection can damage the penis. If you have a stomach
ulcer, any bleeding disorders, or retinitis pigmentosa, use Lavitra with caution.
The safety of taking this medication with these conditions has not been adequately
studied. Lavitra does not offer any protection from sexually transmitted diseases,
such as HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Women should never take Lavitra. Its
effects during pregnancy have not been studied. Lavitra drug Interactions?
If you want to use Lavitra, first tell your doctor about all medications or treatments
you are regularly using, including cimetidine, nitroprusside (any "nitric oxide
donor" medicines), erythromycin, nitrate medications (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide
dinitrate), azole antifungals (e.g., itraconazole, ketoconazole), mibefradil,
